Fabian combines a strong background in medical robotics with hands-on experience in turning research into practical technologies. After studying Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich and working on microrobotics at Harvard, he joined ETH Zurich’s Multi-Scale Robotics Lab, where his research focuses on small-scale robotic systems for minimally invasive surgery and targeted drug delivery. As part of the ANGIE project, Fabian and his team required highly realistic vascular and spinal models for development and validation, solutions that were simply not available on the market at the time. This unmet need became the starting point for Swiss Vascular. Today, as Co-Founder and CEO, Fabian combines this technical background with business development, strategic partnerships and the company’s long-term direction.
We started Swiss Vascular because the simulation tools we needed in MedTech research simply didn’t exist. Today, we build the tools we wish we had ourselves.
